This is George - He has been waiting for his forever home for 2 years! George is fun and playful and loves a good scratch between the ears. He's discerning and takes his time to get to know you, but once you're in, you're in. George was neutered by a TNR clinic and sports a rather prominent ear tip. Which means while he was under anesthesia for his procedure, they snipped the tip of his ear so if he wasn't able to be socialized and become a house cat he could head back to the great outdoors and be easily recognized as a cat that had been fixed. George took to the comforts of home and quickly warmed up to his housemates and became a great candidate for adoption. George went on an adventure in 2013 when he found an open attic access and hid in the roof for over 25 days! He's a survivor and deserves a home with a family that will return his love. If you'd like to meet George, please contact us! One of our supporters and adopters, Nancy Johnson passed away last year and a generous donation was made in her name. Nancy adopted Onyx who was a scared little boy when she took him in and with gentle care and attention, Nancy and her boyfriend turned this skittish kitty into a lovey purr machine! Please take a moment to remember Nancy and her caring spirit. Obituary |
