Dewey Animals
Dewey Animals, Inc. was founded in 1993 and is run by a network of unpaid volunteers. The primary program is trap-neuter-return feral cats to reduce the birth of unwanted kittens, reduce the intake at shelters and thus reduce the euthanasia rate at the shelters. Dewey Animals is a nonprofit organization run by a network of volunteers and supported by donations and grants.

Dewey Animals, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, which is run solely by volunteers, whose purpose is to promote spaying and neutering, adoptions and humane treatment of all animals through funding of low cost spay and neuter and humane education. A financial statement is available upon written request from the Virginia State Division of Consumer Affairs.
