Sweet Sam

Meet Sam - He is just shy of 4 months old and when he came to Dewey we found out very quickly that he wasn't eating. Even the smell of food caused him to gag. After 5 days of trying to get this sweet boy to eat, the vet finally said we had two choices, feeding tube or euthanasia.

We felt Sam deserved a chance so he has been set up with a feeding tube.  He is slowly getting better even though all the tests, x-rays, and ultrasounds have not brought a diagnosis. This little boy is a cuddle machine and loves being held and napping on anyone who will have him.
